We really enjoyed staying in Mirus Cottage and seeing the horses each day. Thomas in particular took a shine to Tommy and Spike. The island was a complete surprise to us, as we had thought it would be to small, little to do and a fortnight would be too much but...two weeks wasn't enough. There is as much or as little to see and do as you want, it was wonderful to slow down to the pace of things on the island. Intrigued with the cross between French and English but loved it all. There are some lovely places to eat - Crabby Jacks was a disappointment as it is more of a "fast food" type restaurant and is a total smoking environment, although the food was good there wasn't much crab on the menu.Jerbourg Point is lovely and the hotel a good place to eat - the children's portions are huge!!
